@KyleGUFC @Alter451657 @KezardIV The British isles are made up of thousands of islands. The two main ones being the island with Scotland on it and the other being the island of Ireland. Do a wee bit of research and you will educate yourself.

@RentonRBB @permanganato_ Yo no dije que esté hermanado con ninguno. Sólo lo dije que los prefiero antes que los clubes de Glasgow Además aún me acuerdo de las veces que me acordé de los ancestros de Hibernian este mismo verano

Heart of Midlothian are not, nor have they ever been, a "protestant club". If they were, then they wouldn't have helped Hibernian raise funds or petitioned the league on their behalf. scotsman.com/sport/football… We're a secular club, with a mixed fan base. Not everyone wears your chains.
John-Paul 🇻🇦@SAfrikaCath

In what universe would Rome or Basque Country be supporting the Protestant club over the Catholic club? I know your pea sized brain can only type a 2 sentence prompt into chatgpt to generate this goyslop but at least be realistic come on fella

Collums position is untenable, he should resign first thing tomorrow morning. A full public enquiry is needed into the running of @ScottishFA aswell. Scottish football firmly in the gutter in front of the world tonight. @JamTarts need to speak out, this is not acceptable!

@huell_2 Use refs that have no ties to clubs up here? The ref is a well known Rangers fan as is the guy on var who called him over to look at it 🤣🤣 McCoist is just a bitter orange bastard

Change the Handball Rule Episode 1,459 Motherwell v Celtic: > Does the ball hit Sam Nicholson's hand? I think so > Is Sam Nicholson making his body shape bigger? No > Are Celtic in a Scoring Position? No, he wins the duel with another player behind him. Why is a crowded headed clearance turned into a free shot at goal from 12-yards?! Just turn these incidents into IDFK's and remove all the controversy, surely?!
John Walker@johnwalker_1986

Can We Change the Handball Rule? I feel for something as severe as a penalty, the punishment has to fit the crime: > A Deliberate Handball Offence > Blocking a Goalbound Shot (Deliberate or Not) For other offences, could we start to introduce Indirect FK's: > Crossing into Crowded Areas > Shots Going Off Target > Headers Going Away from Goal The attacking team still get some advantage and the defending team are penalised but it feels like the punishment fits the crime a little better... Thoughts?

@tk977799 @Fitzy__07 @pieandbov His head thats directly behind his hand and was going to make contact with the ball anyway? What disadvantage did this put Celtic at to deserve a penalty? What changes if the hand isn't there?

The morning after the night before. Firstly, it’s 2026, let’s stop using still images to try and confirm anything that happens on a football pitch. Video brings context. Secondly, and related to point one, for fucks sake use some common sense. An image showing two balls and an English Premier League badge on the Motherwell shirt is actually being circulated by some people as “proof” of what happened 😂 Thirdly, unless you are genuinely blind, I think we can all agree on one point now. The ball absolutely DOES hit his hand, the evidence of that in slow motion and zoomed in, is absolutely clear. Fourth, the distance on the ball is because Nicholson does indeed head it, but he heads it with his hand between his head and the ball. Again that is absolutely clear when you watch it zoomed in and in slow mo, IMO. So, and this is only my opinion of course, the only debate to be had is about whether the hand is in an unnatural position or if his hand has ended up there because of contact from Trusty. For me, whilst his arm isn’t making his silhouette bigger, you can’t really say it being on his forehead is a natural position 🤷‍♂️ Whether a nudge by Trusty pushed his arm up there is I suppose up for some debate but that’s pretty subjective, again IMO, and could be argued either way. So, despite the initial furore, by me included, I genuinely can see why this has been given. In terms of “the worst VAR decision of all time”it’s not even close to being as bad as either of the penalties Hearts didn’t get just three days ago at the same ground. Most neutrals, me included, want Hearts to win the league, and that incident last night was massively disappointing, but I think we all need to calm down a bit. What it has shown though, is that we desperately need more and better camera angles if we are stuck with VAR, and we also need much clearer and consistent decisions on handball cos we are making an absolute arse of dealing with it up here. Some refs give what others don’t, and it’s incredibly frustrating (again see Fir Park on Sat night). That’s my 2p worth anyway, all I know for sure is it’s a very good time to be a football forum owner 🤪

@tk977799 @johnwalker_1986 "Rarely" ie not every single time, so when an opponent jumps up from under your arm and forces it upwards, that kind of exception?

@pieandbov Very reasonable and well thought out assessment. I've yet to read a cohesive argument as to why it wasn't a penalty. There's just noise about how 'shocking' it was. People are just desperate for Celtic not to win the league (and rightfully so) but the fall out is embarrassing
