@aarminani @slytigertalim The Tekken team probably saw a lot of engagement around requests on Twitter and may have had a hard time distinguishing whether the engagement was because of a good idea or a bad one. IMO they should probably know the difference already but that's a separate issue.

@aarminani @slytigertalim If there's anything encouraging about the feedback portal, it's that you can see positive and negative reactions to balance change and bug fix requests and the majority of the poorly founded requests are getting lots of thumbs down.

Many top players have some of the cringiest takes about the game and other people deserve to be heard too. Just because somebody has a more successful tournament record does not make them an expert on balance.
All voices deserve to be heard, and if the devs are good at their job, they should be able to pick apart the good feedback from the scrub quotes no matter who is saying it. This is such an entitled perspective.

Having a “feedback” portal where anybody can give you feedback in honestly the worst thing you can do. How about reach out to the actual pros/big names playing your game & get their feedback for balancing. Not “John Tekken” who has 40 DEF & doesn’t know any punishment.
