@Sai_Ishaya_ @d_jame_s There's a reason we're not agreeing, we're talking about different things.

The average Law, Medicine etc is not one of the best students in Nigeria. What metric are you using to judge this?
You can make your point without using exagerrations.
UI is a good school but there are a lot of factors that allow for a school to produce 40% first class graduates in Nigeria. You can call out people arguing against this without using hyperbole as a crutch.
Everyone always views the world from the lens of their own experience.
I've heard this reiterated several times in person and I just smh and refuse to engage. People genuinely believe that an average student in UI will be a first class graduate in other Nigerian universities.
Anyway, sometimes to succeed you have to be fed a certain degree of delusional juice.

You clearly don’t know anything about the caliber of students who make it into university of Ibadan, that’s why you’re surprised 40% of a class can graduate with a first class. You will be sitting in a random lecture theatre only to find out you’re sitting next to the guy with the highest jamb score. Your roommate is the girl who had the best WAEC result in South West. You really don’t know what it takes to gain admission into the university of Ibadan. The average Law, Medical or Engineering student in UI is one of the best students in Nigeria.

@Sai_Ishaya_ @d_jame_s I think you've made up your mind, I wanted to explain better but others have done in the comments. I'll reiterate, based on first hand experience, UI's admission process is very transparent. It's not a coincidence that you have the best in the country getting admitted in bulk.
English

@Sai_Ishaya_ @d_jame_s I don't understand the argument o, UI medicine gets the best students from secondary school, this is not news na. I think it's due to prestige and transparent admission process, they echoed in secondary school to high flyers that UI is the place to go if you don't have 'leg'.
English

@d_jame_s In fact, medicine is where it applies the least. I am not surprised you are making statements like this. It is not the first time I'm hearing it. That's why I made the tweet in the first place.

@ThatCruiseMedic Thermometer made us do this thing, I hope he's now a better man sha cos he was nasty.
English

It is legally wrong to tell final year medical students to pay 7th year school fees for a 6 years course.
The management of the college of medicine university of Nigeria Nsukka should do better, you have not only delayed the dreams of these medical students but also put extra financial burden on their parents and now you want them to pay an extra school fee for a delay that isn't their fault?
What is our medical school turning into? We are yet to finish from uni-ilorin and now UNN wants to start their own?

@Admiral_Cyborg @solaadio Just let people be. Haba. People watch football while footballers make crazy money, football is for entertainment and this is helping them pray, people have cultivated a habit of devotion due to it and it's helped them grow. Again, leave people alone.
English

@solaadio And you deserve to be glued to your screen, watching him while he makes the 10 billion.
