As a Jack player it's easy for me to say that Saint could have just jabbed or f2'd against any of this pressure, but then all it would have taken was a read on Joe's part and Saint would have been CH or caught by the bubble for a Heat Dash launch.

Neurological tics are hell.
A good friend of mine has a stuttering issue, and you will never convince me he has any input on when it takes place.
Another friend of mine has constant vocal tics.

Three things that have been said to me in the last month while my #Tourettes has started firing up while out shopping: "People like you shouldn't be out in public" "You need locking away" "I'll f*cking kill you" The last was by a lad in a group who proceeded to drive me away with with threats of physical violence. This is just three of the most egregious reactions I've had in the space of a month. Now imagine that happens every month, every year. Can you see why we feel ostracised? Why we're often afraid to go out? I don't just tic words. I jerk my head, flail my arms. I meow, and cluck like a chicken. I blow raspberries until my lips are sore, I click my tongue over and over again. Can you imagine how embarrassing this is? Getting laughed at everywhere? And then words come out and laughter turns to disgust & threats.

最近鉄拳の大会やイベントなどで知り合いや鉄拳のファンの方々に｢鉄拳どうやってうまくなる？｣って良く聞かれますが、日本語がまだ不自由なために毎回ちゃんと答えられてないのが申し訳なくて文章に自分の鉄拳に対しての価値観をまとめてみました。
鉄拳で上達するうえで一番大事なのは、「強い人にワンチャン勝てる力」ではなく、「自分より下だと思っている相手に絶対に負けない力」です。
たとえば、いくらArslan Ashやノビに対して勝率が良くても、他の相手に安定して勝てなければあまり意味はありません（※インビテーショナル大会のような特殊な形式を除いて）。
だからこそ、強い人や自分が理想とするプレイスタイルの人とひたすらプレマや野試合をすることは、キャラ練度や集中力の向上にはつながりますが、それだけで大きくレベルアップできるとは限りません。
つまりランクマッチで、皆が良く言ってる「こいつの鉄拳クソ」「こいつの鉄拳しょーもない」と感じる様な自分が認めてないタイプの相手にしっかり安定して勝ち切れるようになることが、鉄拳上達への一番の近道だと思います。
