I try to design for repairability where possible. SuperStation has several modular parts, and the controller module can be easily replaced by removing two screws and a ribbon cable.

@tknejpn @TakiUdon_ It happened to me too. Could not use my credit card. Had to buy it with my debit card. Paypal is a must.

@tknejpn Different payment providers charge different/unfavorable fees that wouldn't allow me to sell the products as cheap as they are. MiSTER operates on very small margins.

@TakiUdon_ Thank you, that‘s appreciated. Maybe Japanese cc companies are a bit sensitive. Even when notified beforehand, there were cases when they flagged my transaction and I couldn‘t make the purchase; usually the backend being Shopify. With ApplePay ie? Never a problem. Why not add it?

@tknejpn I changed the address verification option after the last batch sold because Shopify cannot be relied on for it. The only other thing that can stop people is if their bank flags the transaction, but the email will provide advice for this, IE, notify your bank you will buy from HK.

@TakiUdon_ Did that the last two times. Worked before and afterwards. Was denied during the rush. I know it’s Shopify’s problem but here’s hoping ApplePay or at least PayPal is gonna be an option. People will either get screwed by denied addresses or credit cards again otherwise sadly.

@tknejpn Test your address before the launch with a random item in the store. Addresses should only be denied now if we don't ship to a specific country.

The entire batch will be sold at one time. 1 per customer - shipping immediately. If our batch size still wasn't big enough for the demand, I will consider splitting batch 3 into a preorder to increase our production capability.

A group of individuals with a competing interest are angry that we are selling affordable MiSTer hardware. As a middle finger to them and thanks to the people who actually matter, all Batch 2 MiSTER Pi = -$5 If you were threatened before this, it's going to get much worse.
