São Paulo 🇧🇷 was beautiful, and crazy, and possibly the start of a temporal "crypto nomad" arc for me. The crazy rainy days, the sunny days, the vibe of a giga-populated city, the traffic, its beautiful restaurants and super kind people, the gifts I got, the quality time I spent which made me the happiest person on the planet for a few days. I came to São Paulo to study and understand this market as a crypto native from the ground floor.. no "special contacts" or corporate meetings. I wanted to be a civilian, a regular person living here and seeing how I could do it using only crypto. The results are amazing and they show the development. Merge São Paulo was an extremely corporate event.. it's good, but it still doesn't align with my views. But to criticize something better, you have to see it from the inside, and I wanted to see the internals of the KYC, Compliance, and Super-Regulated "crypto" beast. Removing the sometimes monotonous topics discussed at a crypto conference (payments and stablecoins - yes, we get it) I found a vibrant community of people working on actually useful stuff, and not so useful but very crypto and cypherpunk things plus some "underground SP Miladys," yield farmers, DeFi guys, and of course a lot of scam exchanges trying to sell me things, but I managed to escape them. The next few days I'll catch up with the DMs from all of you, work like a dog all day on Milady, and prepare for the next incursion, need a few days of rest and meditation. The mission was achieved. Total Milady expansion. NEXT LATAM DESTINATION? We'll see.
