@NanouuSymeon Not better but equally good. Playing puzzle games, reading a good book, watching a mind bending movie, philosophy. Each of what I wrote prepares the mind for the difficult programming puzzle that we might face.

You are confused. And I'm not insulting anybody. I'm telling the inevitable outcome of ignoring that college is an investment. When you take out $100k in debt, but cannot pay it back because their is no job for you, what do you think happens? Your personal return on investments matter as well. If you buy a car but cannot afford it, then you will not be able to eat, may lose your house, etc. If you take out credit card debt for door dash you'll eventually run into a debt spiral you cannot pay off. Personal finance is important, and when considering if you want to take out $100k in debt, it is all that matters. Literally all that matters. I have a friend with 2 masters and he cannot get a job. I have a masters and may get the most responses out of all of my friends from employers but it's not 2022... It's 1/10 as many. My linkedin used to be 100 messages a month and now is 7 maybe, which is the far good end. What I am saying is you do not take out $100k+ in debt to do something unless you can pay it off. Like I didn't become a lawyer strictly because i'd be paying that debt for life. This is the primary consideration when choosing a major. Genuinely. Then out of those with positive ROIs, which do you enjoy or think you're good at... Because otherwise you are gambling the next 40 years of your life away.

@ItsCuthulhu @trying_to_exits This is not an argument. You just insult people. Just say thank you to everyone that didn't care about ROI and gave you AC, wireless telecom, philosophy and many more...have a good life

@trying_to_exits ROI is what matters. Think about what will be the jobs of the future. Will you be able to return your money with this degree? Everything else is bullshit. It is an investment in yourself.

AI isn't replacing anyone. And they are desperate about this. The CEOs of the AI companies are so desperate to put this into people's heads that they do anything and say any idiotic thing in the playbook to do that. They have bet their entire companies on this idea The investors have invested because the idea of 1 man + AI = 100 men before AI It hasnt happened, and its not happening as of now. I don't know if the blow-up will be a big explosion or just slowly bleed for months and years once the story falls apart.

Career advice for Laravel devs. Diversify your tech-stack. I see more and more clients ask for full-stack solution: web front+back, mobile, AI on top. In AI era, they often expect ONE person to build it all. You should be ready to be "A DEVELOPER", not a "Laravel developer".

If the brain's learning process unfolds a millisecond at a time, then how can we learn quickly from a seconds-long experience, such as touching a hot stove? New findings shed light on a unique process that helps us learn across longer timescales. quantamagazine.org/a-new-type-of-…

Silicon Valley predicts that AI will create the first "one-person billion-dollar company" very soon. But if Claude allows literally anyone to build complex software over the weekend for $20... Who exactly is going to buy their product to make them a billionaire?

I told Claude to build me a Trello replica By noon, I maxed out my $100 plan The app looks really terrible. I think I need thousands of prompts, a team, and several $200 subscriptions to create something useful. This isn't looking good for AI right now
