Unit News: Brothers in Arms – Operation Black Widow Brothers in Arms (@A3BiACommunity) completed Operation Black Widow, a modern special operations mission set across the islands of Tanoa. Delta Force elements were deployed following a military junta takeover, where U.S. citizens were taken hostage after the seizure of American-owned mining operations. Sabre Squadron led the effort, coordinating maneuver troops, QRF elements, and air assets throughout the operation. Fighting centered around Georgetown, where units worked to secure key positions and disrupt enemy control. Resistance was strong, with well-equipped junta forces contesting objectives across the city. Alongside combat operations, teams conducted searches for intelligence to locate hostages, adding another layer of complexity to the mission. The operation showcased strong coordination between ground forces, QRF, and air support in a high-tempo urban environment.
