The Big 12 is a premier basketball conference and Kansas City treats the tournament as such.
As someone who went to Arizona State and covered multiple Pac-12 tournaments in Vegas— from a basketball perspective it doesn’t even compare.
Also, the fans who are pushing this switch haven’t been here long enough to start making demands.

Told ya'll years ago that the Big 12 basketball tournament needs to leave KC for Vegas. No one outside of Kansas or Iowa goes to this tournament.
