Our team is freshly back from the @LTAlliance Rally in PDX, where wE learn how our work fits into the most pressing issues concerning natural resources and the climate. It’s energizing to see how our work contributes to the bigger solutions necessary to shape a healthy future.

We love discovering native species at our preserves, like this self-heal at Yards Creek. We learn about plants that are naturally suited to the land we live on, and we get the satisfaction of knowing our restoration work is creating a healthy ecosystem that nurtures them.

Fungi are loving this damp weather! Sue McClary from the NJ Mycological Association found *28* different species last week at Yards Creek Preserve in Blairstown, including this pleurotus, better known as oyster mushroom. Discovering all this diversity at our preserve is amazing!
