Tazaki reckons that Takaichi will obtain support from Aso, (most of) the Abe faction, “younger” Diet members, and Motegi. Motegi’s backing, if true, would be a blow to Koizumi/Ishiba, as he commands at least 30 (if not around 50) votes. I guess he sides with Aso.

@tldrrory Very good video! I am curious as to how the government was able to lose control so quickly, though. You mention near the end that the protesters were mostly unbothered by police/army as they stormed PM residence, do we know why the government 'gave up'?
