We are grateful to The ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre) for hosting us, and to Lagrange.AI, Kitabisa.com, and Prof Markus Gerschberger for their insightful presentations to the group.

In this thought-provoking session with reps from ASEAN disaster management agencies, we discussed the role of emerging technologies including AI and e-commerce in disaster mgmt, focusing on logistics and supply chain mgmt aspects, the backbone of disaster relief missions.

The Institute was invited by AHA Centre to facilitate a session titled “Innovation in Disaster Management.” for their Capacity Building for Leadership in Emergency and Disaster Management for ASEAN Programme (LEDMP), Middle Level 2024 on 28th - 29th Feb 2024.
