As of today, 🇬🇷 is experiencing 🔥 weather conditions that are most commonly found in the 3rd 10-day period of July, along with a 🔺 140% increase of the cumulative burned area compared to the long-term (2006-2023) average. fireweather.eu/portal/july-fi…

⚠️Potentially dangerous 🔥 fire weather expected in several parts of 🇬🇷 over the coming weekend (Saturday - Sunday, 29 - 30.06.2024), mainly due to near-gale and gale-force northerly 💨. ‼️For this period of the year, such fire weather conditions are considered super extreme.

‼️Another severe fire weather episode is about to influence 🇬🇷 ,28-30.06. ⚠️Less Hot (🌡️), Less Dry (🌵), much more windier (💨) compared to previous severe Hot-Dry-Windy episode. 🔥🚫Do not use fire for any reason.
