Growing up, there were many different things I attached myself onto as a form of comfort. Mostly, I really loved cartoons, bugs, and one you might not know- plants 🌱. Like many of the things I loved, I had an attachment to plants that wasn’t really normal. I personified them a lot, i spoke to them and wanted to protect them! My plants were my babies! I think for a while, I used to play with myself at school and pretend I could feel the emotions of like… the bushes outside… (。-_-。) wah.. Anyways, I had to move around a lot growing up, so it made it hard to keep any plants.. however, there were a few I had managed to keep safe. I had a wooden rectangle homemade pot that could be put in a window’s edge. I could take this anywhere with me, and I had it for many, many years. Inside it were succulents, which other plant lovers may know are rather resilient and mostly slow growers. I had a small cactus I picked up off a tourist-shop floor (they were going to throw it away), Panda Plant, Donkey’s tail, Ghost Plant, and Moonglow. They were all kept in that same wooden box and taken everywhere with me. These plants were the one thing I felt like I could really hold onto, I loved them dearly. Sadly, ;; multiple times over the years they were hurt by my mom, until eventually she had done something with too much damage, and my plants could not be recovered. It’s rather silly to say since they were just plants, but it really, really hurt me. I lost a lot of motivation after that, and I haven’t adopted any new plants since. Until.. the other day! I had gone to Walmart, I looked at the garden area and said “I want to get something”. Usually I would never buy plants from there, I’ve always preferred nurseries- but it was a spur of the moment!!! And I did it!! I did it!! I bought two plants! 。゚(゚´ω`゚)゚。🩷🩷🩷🩷 They’re outdoor plants with flowers! I’ve already repotted them, and I’ve been doing what I can to help them adjust to their new home. I’m just so happy that after all these years I’m in a place where I can have plants again! I want to slowly get more and more.. i love plants. 🪴 I just wanted to share my little story, because it’s something else about me I’m really passionate about! I’ve just never gotten to talk about it with Piwwos since I’ve been too scared to get plants again.. so I’m happy happy..
