I hesitate to write about this because I’m sure not seeking attention. But I do believe in the power of prayer. Last week my wife finally came home with the support of hospice care. As we take this journey please pray that I have strength and that her journey is comfortable. I want to honor the long and great marriage we’ve had. Remember, it all began inside Sanford Stadium in 1986 when a friend introduced us. Thank you in advance for your prayers and support.

Early this morning, someone spotted what appears to be a full-field red synthetic turf installation at Sanford Stadium, replacing the usual Tifway 419 Bermuda grass surface. The change would point toward improved durability, surface consistency, and brand alignment. Thoughts, DawgNation?

UGA guard Jeremiah Wilkinson talked openly about Georgia’s lack of effort in last night’s loss to Saint Louis “We didn’t act like we wanted to be here and you’re not going to win a game in the NCAA Tournament when the other team wants to be here and we don’t want to be here.”

If someone told me what I am about to tell you a year ago, I would have called it a fairytale. I went to church this morning with my friend Joe. He had invited me months ago and I called him last night to ask if Holly and I could attend with him today. He said he would be honored. He said Bible Study was at 10 and service was at 11 and he sent me the address to Victory Baptist Church in Bristol. When we arrived this morning, we were greeted by so many people and everyone was asking if we were "Joe's friends". We felt welcomed immediately. They led us to the Bible Study group and the leader said, "We have studying Psalms". The same Psalms that led me through the doors of a church for the first time in nearly 3 decades, a week ago. I felt that was a sign I was in the right place. Through the rest of the service, I felt like it was time. Time to commit. Time to turn my life over to him. But when the alter call came, I couldn't go. I just didn't feel worthy, as I have wrestled with for forever. All those people. So pretty and neat. So I didn't go. After the service, Joe asked me to speak with his Pastor, who wanted to thank us for coming, and I said I was happy to meet him. And then it happened. He thanked me for coming and he asked if I knew that Jesus died for my sins. I responded that I have been working on understanding, and then he shook me to my core. You see, I know 1 verse from the Bible by heart. Only 1. I remembered it from my youth because of a song. Romans 10:9 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." That's it. That's the 1 verse I know. I know what others say, but I can't quote it. I don't know where it is at. But I know that one. His next words to me? He asked me if I knew Romans and he recited that verse. The only verse I knew by heart, word for word. That was my proof. That was my evidence that today was the day. I stopped him mid verse as I broke down in tears and asked him to pray with me and he led me to the Alter with Joe and several others that I'm not yet sure of their name. Today, I confessed with my mouth, the Lord Jesus.... and I came up a saved man. Today was the day. Today. It happened. I have no idea what to do next or where it goes.... but today, I can say that thank God, I am not where I once was..... but I am NOW where I am. To everyone that has worked on me for years now. Thank you. Thank you for not giving up even when my words were hateful. I didn't know what I didn't know. I still don't, honestly.... But I am not that man today. Today was a great day.

@klhull143 @shane_pruitt78 “And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.” 1 Corinthians 2:13 ESV So no, “modern ethics and scholarship” don’t enhance. We should be about applying Gods truth in today’s world.

@shane_pruitt78 This is not quite accurate: 1)View of Scripture: The two views you describe are not mutually exclusive and “modern ethics and scholarship” can enhance your understanding, especially if you see Scripture as divinely inspired and authoritative, and dogmas have shifted…

Major DIFFERENCES between Traditional Christianity & Progressive Christianity. How can two people that both claim to be evangelical Christians have such differing views from one another? One explanation comes down to two different major theological frameworks. They are vastly different from one another: 1. View of Scripture Progressive Christianity: - Often reinterprets difficult passages in light of modern ethics and scholarship. - Sees doctrine as open to development and reform. Traditional Christianity: - Holds Scripture as divinely inspired and authoritative. - Sees core doctrines as settled and not subject to cultural revision. 2. Understanding of Jesus Progressive Christianity; - Emphasizes Jesus’ teachings on love, inclusion, & justice. - May interpret substitutionary atonement, or even the resurrection in symbolic or non- literal ways . - Often, focuses more on Jesus as a moral example than as divine Savior. Traditional Christianity: - Affirms Jesus as fully God and fully man. - Holds to literal bodily resurrection. - Teaches that Jesus’ death atones for sin. - Jesus is not just an example, but is also Lord and Savior. 3. View of Sin and Salvation Progressive Christianity: - Often defines sin more in terms of injustice, oppression, and broken systems. - Salvation may be described as healing, liberation, or earthly victory over systems. Traditional Christianity: - Defines sin primarily as rebellion against God. - Teaches repentance and faith as necessary. - Affirms eternal realities such as heaven and hell. 4. Moral & Sexual Ethics Progressive Christianity: - Often affirms same-sex marriage and LGBTQ clergy. - May revise traditional teachings on gender roles. Traditional Christianity: - Holds historic teaching that marriage is between a man and a woman. - Maintains traditional sexual ethics as clearly defined by the Bible. - Sees these teachings as rooted in Scripture and natural law, and doesn’t change according to culture. Often, Progressive Christianity is code language for compromising on old sin.

@RadiNabulsi Imo a kid should be able to sign with a school anytime after the National Championship game of his junior yr. Official visits start 1 month after said NCG. Additionally, no transfers for 2 yrs after said NCG. Finally, only 1 transfer allowed without a sit out yr penalty.

Georgia's season comes to an end. Bulldogs went 12-2. Both losses were by a field goal. The young team has come a long way this year. Will be favored to win it all next season imo

Here is my ideal College Football Playoff format: 1. 16 teams (teams ranked 1-16) 2. No automatic qualifiers 3. Round 1 begins the weekend after CCG 4. No bye weeks 5. National Championship on 1/1 Thoughts?

Biggest CFP question from yesterday: First round bye teams are 1-7 over the last two seasons. Thats enough of a sample size to start formulating some conclusions. What did Curt Cignetti do that everyone else didn’t?
