At 8-years-old, he lost his father to suicide. And he has spent his life trying to spare other children the same fate, donating millions of dollars and countless hours to mental health initiatives. In 2022, he donated $1 million (and many hours) to establish a mental health foundation for children. In 2023, he won an auction for a private concert from a popular band. He immediately made the concert a public fundraiser for charity, raising hundreds of thousands. After a shocking November loss, the entire world turned against him. He called a team meeting. He told his players he loved them, and that he would protect them. Then he went on the greatest 4-game run in history, winning the title everyone said he’d never win. He received a $1.4 million bonus for this achievement. And immediately donated all of it to charities benefiting the homeless. Amid all of the false accusations, death threats, and unbridled hatred, he never once complained. This is who we’re making fun of?
