Port officials said today that they will work with the Joe Riley Center for Livable Communities at the College of Charleston to create a new plan for Union Pier, ending their contract with real estate development firm Lowe. Read more: bit.ly/43PWNrK

NEW: South Carolina Ports Authority announced it will delay its request to approve the Union Pier plan by one year. They will start on a new plan with the Joe Riley Center for Liveability at CofC and the city. Real estate dev. firm Lowe is no longer involved
