@Mwikiah @Zone345689 @suntoshpillay Your obsession with white people will kill you, White South Africans are a minority , yet somehow you seem to believe they make the majority of outbound travels in the whole of Africa. Don't you see contradiction

Unfortunately, as South Africans we do not travel enough within Africa, and pay very little attention to life above the Limpopo river. It shows.

@SedikoR Why does an Ivorian have to be in Ivory Coast in order to advocate for a bordelss Africa? Limiting people to colonial boundaries defeats the purpose of Pan-Africanism. It results in reinforcementnof the very same borders we want to remove...

Dr Sediko Rakolote (PhD) 🇿🇦
Dr Dube, thank you for engaging with my post. I truly appreciate the time and thought you invested in responding. You have indicated that you are an established scholar, and it is from that position that I appeal to you to help me understand your call for the removal of borders. My view is that if we are serious about the claim that “an African can never be a foreigner in Africa,” then surely the starting point should be at home, pressing our own governments to dismantle borders, abolish restrictive immigration laws, and move towards a single continental currency. Otherwise, the statement risks sounding like a slogan without substance. Please correct me if my perspective is inaccurate. Would it not be a more courageous step if, instead of fighting to remain illegally in countries often characterised as xenophobic or Afrophobic, people channelled that energy into advocating for free movement and passport free travel within their own nations? If Pan Africanism is indeed the goal, might it not be more convincing if it were driven from within countries by citizens through civic action, policy reform, and grassroots mobilisation, rather than only through social media or by remaining illegally in other states? Kindly guide me, as you are an established researcher, and simplify this for me. That way, countries accused of xenophobia could learn from genuine examples of unity and integration, rather than being lectured with lofty words that never translate into practice. I raise these questions sincerely as someone willing to learn from an established researcher, Dr Dube. Thank you again for engaging 🇿🇦🙏🏽

@SedikoR Your tweet is nothing but a word salad without substance. An African can never be a foreigner in Africa. Remove all colonial borders now. Xenophobia is evil. Africa is one. We want one currency, free movement and passport free travel.
