Last week the @dpworldtour was in Portugal at Dom Pedro Vilamoura. There are a few risk/reward holes on that course, one of them being the 11h hole shown in these pictures. Historically most players laid up on this hole.

@TalkinTactics Tactical subs at 60 made Chelsea better and Villa worse. Gallagher bulked out midfield and Coutinho and Buendia narrowed Villa and inevitably got in each other’s way again. Coutinho especially slowing counters. Last 20 was woeful.

@TalkinTactics Chelsea poor, finally width and directness from Watkins/Bailey was excellent in behind WBs. Midfield still look lost without ball, flat & easily by-passed. McGinn a shadow of himself, doesn’t seem to know when or how to press, wasting his energy. Luiz did well in tight spots.

@TronCarterNLU @Dundee_Golf More ironically, it’s so dry here that many courses without fairway irrigation will probably lose some of their fairways soon as in 2018 and will thus be saving pennies to install full irrigation soon rather than lose their fairways every few years. I like baked fairways but…

@Dundee_Golf Flew in to/out of Heathrow yesterday and it was a treat to look down on the courses and parks and see the browns and tans. Gorgeous.

The traditional American front yard was adopted from English gardens. The irony is we’re the ones who deemed it necessary to install an irrigation system, they’re the ones content with a little brown during the summer months. Wish we’d follow their lead a bit more.
