Dr. Sharon Desmoulin-Kherat, superintendent of Peoria SD #150, has been named the 2025 Illinois Superintendent of the Year! An independent panel selected her based on innovative approaches the district has taken to address the teacher shortage, develop partnerships in the community and expand opportunities for students.
