Everyday we stay alive is by the grace of God, sheer luck and privilege. Our social contract is eroded. Our country should naturally inspire patriotism. Patriotism is not the sole responsibility of citizens who are hungry, sick, desperate, frustrated and indigent.

Life is short & brutish in Nigeria. Our country is a case study on a thousand ways to die. Poor healthcare, bad roads, gas explosions, criminal activity, etc. Even the army can mistakenly bomb your village while attempting to protect you. The armed forces themselves are not safe

I don’t believe it is because the Americans know something that we don’t that they are shutting down operations in Abuja. It is more likely because of the willful ignorance & refusal to improve security It is not normal for hundreds of people to be kidnapped and/or killed daily.
