The war against biology is far from over. A new peer-reviewed paper claims that teaching students "accurate" biology about sex is more inclusive and makes students enjoy class more. But what they call "accurate" biology is actually pseudoscience. These papers matter because they do more than confuse students. They help create the false appearance of scientific consensus that shape policy and influence court outcomes. Read my latest for @RealLastStand below. 🔗realityslaststand.com/p/the-war-on-b…

@johndyer @tngraham @CTmagazine This was our thinking; in fact, we previously permitted it. And also, while it is possible to use Grammarly and similar more sparingly, as a practical matter, it's just difficult to draw a line *within a program* for freelancers in particular.

I really appreciate @CTmagazine posting their AI usage policy for writers, with clears set of "may" and "may not", emphasizing the human roles. @christianitytoday/note/c-240780046" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">substack.com/@christianityt

A more "Christian" America will come about through the life-changing Christian (biblical) means of grace and teaching which the church administers, effective to the extent that God wills. The church's work may actually be undermined by government association and "help."
Presbycast@presbycast

The American church has sorely neglected to teach its members the first four commandments, yet some would now have the magistrate or "prince" enforce (bailey) or promote them (motte). There's a reason Machen did not even want them posted. Live by meme & vibe, die by meme & vibe.

Strong political parties that bend the rules to entrench their power and succumb to corruption are a consistent feature of democracy qua democracy. And if your entrenched ruling party can lose everything in a wave election, you are not living in an authoritarian state.

There is a great gulf between the Christianity that wrestles with whether to worship at the cost of imprisonment and death, and the Christianity that wrestles with whether the kids should play soccer on Sunday morning. —@JohnPiper

Philz Coffee decided that they wished to be more inclusive of those who are not onboard with the overbearing presence of the symbols of a sectarian power-seeking social movements that demands obeisance to bizarre unrealities being used to assault the rights women to their own private spaces, of children to normal healthy development of intact bodies, of parents to schools that don’t deceive them about the mental health of their children, and of every citizen to reject demands that they propagate unrealities — by far the majority of the customer base and citizenry of San Francisco and everywhere else in America.
Senator Scott Wiener@Scott_Wiener

The San Francisco-born small business, Philz Coffee, just lost its community values after being bought out. Now owned by private equity firm Freeman Spogli, Philz is no longer allowed to display pride flags. This sad moment highlights the critical importance of locally-rooted businesses that support and understand the communities they serve, including the LGBTQ community.

The concept of the trans child is very useful for a rights movement whose primary goal is to reframe trans identities as healthy. Because if being trans is innate, then trans kids must exist. And if trans kids exist, then trans identities must be natural—not pathological or deviant. While it may be a perfect self-justifying loop, it's also completely false. foxnews.com/opinion/manufa…

🚨 BREAKING The state of California is appealing the district court’s refusal to modify its permanent injunction in Mirabelli v. Bonta. The appeal is remarkable because the U.S. Supreme Court has already weighed in and sided with the district court. On March 2, 2026, the Court vacated the Ninth Circuit’s stay of the injunction as it applies to parents, effectively ruling that policies that allow schools to conceal a child’s gender identity from parents cannot be enforced. Despite a clear loss at the highest level, and despite being ordered to pay approximately $4.8 million in attorneys’ fees to the plaintiffs so far, Attorney General Rob Bonta continues to press forward with this pointless and costly legal fight.

Watch all of this. Really listen. These are the lessons we will be reminded of at the judgment—and of what we did with them. Link to full interview is in the thread. “Redeem the time, because the days are evil.” -Ephesians 5:16 @BenSasse @DouthatNYT x.com/jasonkovacs/st…

🚨NEW: This person just got a PhD for a dissertation illuminating the “lived experiences” of just FOUR “queer child life specialists” through what it calls a “queer narrative inquiry study.” The student used “an unstructured group interview to co-create research questions with participants,” meaning the subjects of the study helped decide what the study would ask in the first place. It then followed up with “unstructured individual interviews” and analyzed the material using a “creative approach to thematic analysis.” Participants' feelings were sorted into themes like “ongoing navigation of queer identity,” “experiences of discrimination,” and “experiences of allyship.” A final “member-checking group interview validated the findings,” which means the same four people helped confirm the conclusions too. You must refer to this person as “Doctor” now.
