THANK YOU to Senn High School’s Baseball team for an awesome pitching coaching session in preparation for my Chicago Cubs first pitch! I left feeling super encouraged and far better equipped! They even helped simulate some nerves by hurling tasteful insults at me 🤣

On the surprise phone call of my life, the Chicago Cubs just invited me to throw the FIRST PITCH for Teacher Appreciation Night on May 5th in recognition of being a Golden Apple Finalist!!! 🤯🔥⚾️🧢 I am absolutely humbled and honored by this opportunity! Pic throwback to 2019!

I am thrilled to be entering Northwestern University’s PhD in Music Education Program!!! 🙌🎵 My research focus will be music and well-being. ❤️😃 This PhD program is full-time for 5 years, so I will be stepping down from my teaching position at Senn Arts after 9 rich years. 🥺

What an amazing experience competing alongside so many of my dear friends! 🔥 We took third in the ILMSA State Competition yesterday! I count every sore part of my body as a blessing and a reminder of this incredible swimming community that I have the privilege do life with!🏊‍♂️

Thank you Golden Apple Foundation for an inspiring and uplifting banquet! It was awesome to be amongst colleagues who center their teaching practices in care and joy - coupled with evolving curriculums that meet the individual needs of their students! So much gratitude!!!❤️

What an amazing day of singing at Join Voices Chicago at NEIU today! The Senn Arts Advanced Vocal Ensemble and hundreds of Chicago youth sang with excellence and spirit as we all leveled up together! Special kudos to clinician Lonnie Norwood and to Grace Jeong for organizing!

What a joy to help raise $2.2 million in the opening night of @UNICEFUSA Heart Strings exhibit! Grateful for the invitation to perform our original piece, “Who Will Carry Me?” Thank you to the whole UNICEF team for amplifying the impact of our artistry in this world.

UNICEF USA has asked me to lead Senn vocalists to be featured performing “Who Will Carry Me?” for the opening night of their “Heart Strings” exhibit! So grateful that the love we put into the WWCM project is still spinning beauty into the world! Thank you @UNICEFUSA !
