Hi guys, I’m Dominic. 🇦🇹 I’ve been trading in silence for a while, but it’s time to open the doors. I’m starting tny.capital to document my path to profitable trading. This account reflects my edge: clean, focused, and mobile. My journey to SE-Asia later this year is the ultimate test of this system. The view changes, the discipline stays. 🌏 No dreams for sale—just execution. Let’s work. 🚀

5k run + matcha and a chill day. Honestly worked really hard on my mental health. One of the biggest actions I took was quitting weed pro-bono. I realized a lot of my poor mental heath stemmed from terrible habits: Weed, staying up late, overeating, not eating Whole Foods, overtly scrolling on IG and Twitter every min of the day. First thing I did was delete my IG (made a new private one) and Snapchat, then I had to reorganize the contents I watched and got super intentional about consuming contents that aligns with the state of mind I wanted (optimism, belief). I watch more YouTube rather than scroll IG/X brainlessly. YT is much more informative and helps w/ terrible attention span. The biggest step I took tho, was quitting smoking altogether. A month in and this is the best I’ve felt mentally

Yeah I wish I had the power to kick him to the moon haha. Okay, so just add a bit of a buffer to the SL going forward, got it! Have to admit, this one hurts, seeing how it played out beautifully because I've taken the last few weeks super slow and am basically breakeven, which is a good thing in itself but this one stings me a bit. 😤

Honestly what you could do better is to get orange guy out of office lol. I like to give an allowance of 3-5pips + spread above/below any PD array which invalidates my thesis, this is because unlike the futures markets, the currency markets can be manipulated via spreads by scammy brokers. You have to accept it for what it is and move on to the next trade. No need to beat yourself up.

Back to back profitable weeks on fx. Trading currencies with Orange Guy in office admittedly has been horrible. I’ve adapted to keep risk low on fx until the general uncertainty around the War has been resolved and market symmetry on the macros start to align. Don’t beat yourself up in these markets, understand institutional liquidity are pricing in risk and have reduced flows- it is evident on the charts by the ranging markets and wild swings, this is because resting liquidity is lesser, thus any big player can quickly move price to target “cheap” liquidity

I haven’t taken a single trade in almost 14 days and this reminded me of something I learnt from @realweirdgene: Here is the truth: Your job isn't to pass a challenge as fast as possible. Your job is to be a Money Manager. Most people think being a trader means clicking buttons every day. They see a 10% profit target on a challenge and treat it like a sprint. They are so fixated on 'passing' that they forget how to actually 'trade.' Our primary task is managing risk. If the market doesn't give you your setup or conditions, you stay on the sidelines. Staying flat is a position. Protecting your capital is a win. The goal isn't to pass the challenge in 30 days and blow the funded account in 2. The goal is to stay in the game for the next 10 years. Master your patience. The market isn't going anywhere.

$EURUSD We have double swept the highs and a potential SMT with DXY. I want us to come back into the monday range and close within to look for shorts on EU. FOMC later today so I won't engage before news release, only after. No trades so far this week. Stay patient lads

You’d have outperformed every signal group if you traded my public calls btw BTC, Gold, Oil, and Equities since year start. After my video on “how to get better entries” has been posted to YouTube, I’ll discuss how to profile risk. Risk is a tool, and not just a % you calculate

$DXY Next draw on DXY is the outlined high. We have FOMC on wednesday and a bunch of other news so focus for this week will be Wed-Fri Keep in mind that we are very overextended, so I do expect some fuckery this week and I doubt there'll be something clean. I'd much rather focus on assets (XAU,USOIL) and resume FX trading next week.

$DXY Looking for sells into the daily FVG once we invert the H4 FVG, but taking it very easy due to all the geopolitical stuff that's going on. Took a break last week also to reset as FX wasn't really tradeable for me anyways.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the single biggest position of my 9yr trading career. Six figures in floating partials. I shared my levels publicly since the start of the year. Speechless rn lol

The greatest risk in trading is not the market’s volatility, but your own cognitive biases. The 'Recency Bias' makes you overconfident after a win, and the 'Loss Aversion' makes you hesitant after a hit. Professionalism is the systematic elimination of these biological hard-wirings through rigorous rule-sets.

Most traders fail not because their strategy is bad, but because they can’t handle the cognitive dissonance of a losing streak. Your edge only exists if you have the emotional capital to trade through the drawdown.

$DXY Don't have a strong bias for majors right now - but a sell off from the H1 FVG could be decent with news later today.

The hardest part of trading is doing nothing when there is no setup. Most accounts aren't blown by bad strategies. They are blown by traders who can't even sit on their hands for 24 hours. Patience pays. Overtrading kills.
