@SSBMess_Head @Pedlarbepedling I havent looked into it yet tbh, but there like a timer since L/R press so I guess it probably just check timers & does the standard like stuff for L cancel, like check its within the x frame window & hasn't been locked out or whatever & then if its successful do 2 times speed

Don’t you find it nuts how even now we don’t know an awful lot about the people who programmed melee like imagine how crazy the interview with the guy who fucked up game and watches L cancels like “shit whoops did I” 😭

@SSBMess_Head @Pedlarbepedling Theres no such thing, all of the moves are just attacks. Theres a common move table and a per-fighter special move table. The common moves table just routes to separate code depending on character, eg If character_id is Link_id: Link_DairCode() But like theyre all just. Code.

@toadawsom @Pedlarbepedling As i understand it, his aerials are all programmed as special moves which cant be L cancelled. Except for fair and dair which are correctly classified as aerial moves

in case ppl didnt know, if u want direct mode to default to frozen stadium you can go to %appdata%\Slippi Launcher\netplay\Sys\GameSettings\GALE01r2.ini and find and replace 00000000 3D808018 with 01000000 3D808018 and it'll default to frozen
