This is Bashir Ahmad,a resident of Tudun Wada neighborhood in Kaduna city.He was a strong critic of the Kaduna State Government and Governor.He was abducted from his house and taken to a torture forest in the outskirts of Kaduna Abuja road in 2017.He is still alive in Kaduna to tell you his story and his experiences in the hands of those who tortured him and other victims he met in the dungeon.His abductors were not bandits but masked security men under the direct orders of the Kaduna state Government.He has not permitted me to share his number,but everyone knows him in his neighborhood.

I honestly never thought I would be on this app sharing something this personal, but right now I am overwhelmed and I need help. Please I’m begging you to read this. Around September to November last year, my mum was very, very sick. Not normal sickness. It got so bad that she was admitted in the hospital for almost 3 months. Those 3 months felt like the longest period of my life. I was the one staying with her in the hospital the whole time. I was literally going to work from the hospital every single day and coming back there because I couldn’t leave her alone in that condition. The hospital bills kept increasing every day. Drugs, tests, emergency things, different complications… it was too much and everything happened so fast. At that moment, the only thing on my mind was saving my mum’s life. In the middle of all that pressure and fear of losing her, I ended up using ₦2,138,000 that was entrusted to me. I saw my mum fighting for her life and I made the decision I could live with the consequences later as long as she survived. Since December, I have been trying to recover financially and I have been appealing to the person to please give me time to refund the money. I have not been hiding. I have not denied owing. I have just been trying to survive and raise this money. Now I have been given till this month ending tomorrow, In short the owner wants to collect it today January 30th, and here I am with nothing. I have tried everything I can think of and I am still trying, but right now I am scared and I don’t know what else to do. I know times are hard for everybody. I know people are going through their own struggles too. I am not entitled to anyone’s money or help. But I am humbly begging, if you can help me in any way, even if it is small, or even if it is just to repost this, I will be deeply grateful. I am just someone who tried to save her mother and now I am facing the consequences of that decision. Please help me if you can. God bless you for even reading this far. 🙏
