@EkeneAninze But what do you do as regards the section of constitution that says a political party must win a sit in any national elections? Again I'm short of word for u to say freedom of association should remain supreme over constitution! What kind of lawyer u be my brother!

I may not be a fan of Atiku Abubakar, but I do not believe that the judgement of Justice Peter Lifu ordering INEC to deregister ADC is in the interest of democracy. The freedom of association is a fundamental right that should reign supreme over all other provisions of the Constitution on this subject matter. In any true democracy, people should be allowed to choose their leaders through different political parties. The fact that a political party did not perform well, or has not done well in previous electoral circles, does not mean it cannot perform better in the future. Democracy thrives on choices, competition, and the right of citizens to freely align with any political platform of their choice. Once that right begins to suffer unnecessary restrictions, the very foundation of democracy is placed on shaky ground. That suit filed by the National Forum of Former Legislators is, in my view, ill-conceived and repugnant to equity and good conscience. Atiku Abubakar and other parties affected should be allowed to contest, no matter what. The electorate should be the ones to decide their fate at the ballot box, not technical interpretations that may ultimately deny voters the opportunity to make that choice. I would not want a situation whereby people will later say that Atiku Abubakar was denied the right to contest and that was why he did not win the 2027 elections. I believe the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court will be more lenient with the interpretation of the Constitution on this subject matter. I also believe they will carefully balance the provisions of the law with the broader democratic principles that guarantee political participation and freedom of association. I am Ekene Aninze Esq.

Dear Alhaji Atiku Abubakar @atiku , why have you not stepped foot in the whole of the South East since the last presidential election in 2023, even for a friendly visit? That’s a red flag 🚩for me.

@diiphillipo @willystracy @I_Am_Ilemona This convo is about how Atiku insisted on Obi as VP despite the opposition from SE leaders to denounce the trashy irrational claim that Obi's pairing was what boosted Atiku's image and numbers in 2019. It's either you're lost somewhere around here or you're just a time waster.

Atiku fought the entire south east caucus of the party to stand by his decision in 2019. That decision caused the political elite to strike deals with Buhari. This recount isn't true abeg
kay@Nosablaq

Worst thing that happened to the opposition in 2019 was pairing them. It gave Atiku an overhyped sense of popularity which hasn’t made him respect zoning even at 80, and it made PO more popular, leading to a 3rd force 2023 needed APC vs PDP to kick APC out. 2027 needs a coalition

@tobi_fadipe @willystracy @I_Am_Ilemona I meant more than 4 states, and I said the PDP rigged them, why are you focused on 4 states? This one thinks every rigging is to make the rigger the outright winner in that state. Your argument is scattered, relax, gather your thoughts, probably till tomorrow Saturday.

@willystracy @diiphillipo @I_Am_Ilemona Your prediction model is so warped. Atiku got votes in 2023 he didnt get in 2019. A bulk of Obi's 2023 votes didn't even exist in 2019. Your market closures to enforce PVC collections for Obi were not for nothing Again, you are just wasting my time.

@diiphillipo @willystracy @I_Am_Ilemona ... and this excites you so much as a first timer Say, perhaps you could have won if Atiku had not run at all, forgetting how the votes in the core Northern States would have gone fully to Tinubu uncontested. It's the same Limited world view disorder you've always had.

@diiphillipo @willystracy @I_Am_Ilemona So you claim Atiku rigged those 4 states and somehow when you deduct 50% of the votes he got in those states and add to Obi, Obi still comes 3rd right? In your mind, what you guys call rigging by Atiku is how you think Atiku's nos in those states would have been added to yours...

@tobi_fadipe @diiphillipo @I_Am_Ilemona You've not answer my question With Obi he got 11million votes, without Obi how many votes did he get? Obi without any structure got 6million votes, between the two who is more popular. Remember Atiku have 12 serving governors, senators and reps and Obi have none.

@dondekojo The way these people reason, that 75 - 80% looks like a lot to them. It is difficult for them comprehend how 45% of 4m is higher than 80% of 2m. It is not a coincidence that they don't value the KKK states. They are sincerely unaware that our realities greatly differ across belts

@willystracy @diiphillipo @I_Am_Ilemona He got the highest popular votes, just didn't score 25% beyond 21 states and the close margin made it easy for +10-20 rigging. His gaffe was not picking a core SS or SW VP like Udom or Makinde to complete the spread.

@tobi_fadipe @diiphillipo @I_Am_Ilemona With your so much you didn't realize that he has no electoral value except for Obi who made him popular. Why did he lose 2023 to Tinubu in the same north sense man?
