Today, we announced a $ 250m investment for our Giga Berlin Cell factory. This will enable 18GWh of annual 4680 cell production and create more than 1500 new jobs. Good news during challenging times for the German industry.

4 years ago, we started production with delivering the first 30 cars to our customers! Since then, it has been a unique success story:
- produced and delivered more than 700.000 Model Y 💪🏼

Tesla establishes R&D center in Berlin.
The development center is expected to employ up to 250 engineers and technicians.
Among other things, it will focus on materials research and vehicle and drive development.
Expected move-in date: 2026.
