the thing about mirroring people’s behaviour (back to them) is that they still won’t recognize themselves in it. they’ll only focus on what you’re doing to them—even though it’s exactly what they’ve done to you.

I live in a highly religious society that constantly emphasizes morality, yet there's no evidence of morality being embraced in our society. What is the purpose of our churches and mosques? We have them in every corner, what are they teaching people in religious institutions? Where's this ‘objective’ moral values? Where are the ‘Holy’ people? They're busy dining with the same Nigerian politicians and leaders.
