Honestly, at what point did it only become acceptable to celebrate/revel in a moment as a football fan (or player) if it means you win something? It’s absolutely mental. Imagine begrudging Everton fans celebrating a 97th goal to ensure they didn’t allow their rivals to win the final ever derby at their beloved home. Some of my most special moments following Arsenal have meant fuck all in the grand scheme of things, but in that moment it meant absolutely everything. Honestly, the celebration police - it’s one of the worst takes about modern football there is.
