UKRAINE IS WINNING. 🇺🇦 Fresh gains in the Dnipropetrovsk region — Russian lines are cracking as the counteroffensive keeps pushing forward. The Dnipro region could soon be 100% free of occupation. History is being written right now. Slava Ukraini. 🫡

Trump could have just coasted through his second term, enjoying the soft landing and putting his name on stuff. It would have been so easy to stay popular. Instead he sent masked goons out to shoot citizens, we're in another Middle Eastern war, and inflation is skyrocketing.

It is absurd that the objections of a few homeowners are enough to create massive delays and cost increases for infrastructure projects. We need public transit and the studies show the K Line won't be a problem, the Metro Board should just approve the DEIR Alignment!
lej@_lej44

“The critics mainly consisted of Lafayette Square residents who oppose Metro tunneling underneath their Mid-City historic district” Utter insanity that ~30-50ppl can delay a regional mass transit line for something objectively false. Tunneling 80-120ft below em’ does NOTHING.

Genuinely how many more people are going to die before we start forcing old people to retake their driver's test every couple of years?

Unfunded inclusionary zoning mandates require home builders to rent units at a loss. They raise the cost of building new housing, worsen our housing shortage, and raise housing costs across the board. This is bad, counterproductive policy that California should abandon entirely.
Saad Asad@realsaadasad

Oregon may ban unfunded affordable housing mandates — because data proves they suppress homebuilding. When cities require below-market units without offsetting costs, developers build fewer homes, pushing up prices for everyone. California still uses the same counterproductive approach that Oregon may ban. sightline.org/2026/03/05/ore…

All the fire communities Palisades, Malibu, Altadena--wish to rebuild back better--especially in public spaces & commercial areas. LA deserves it as a global city. Whether its bike lanes along PCH, Complete Streets across Sunset Blvd or charming placemaking in Altadena. 🧵

This is a great point from @mattyglesias today - the weakest 2028 Dem nominees are ones that swing voters perceive as too far left, but the left hates anyways. You want a candidate that doesn't create internal strife, but still codes as moderate to swing voters.

The respectable case for restraint in American support for Ukraine is that we want to shift the burden to Russia and reduce European free-riding. But Trump & Vance relentlessly promote pro-Russian parties in Europe who are the leading opponents of sharing more burden!

What I meant was--I wouldn't be surprised if he sees that and is spending heavily to target ads towards them or trying to reach them through asian media, make appearances with in asian language media or with influential figures, etc. It could simply be the message resonating but the high numbers for a lower-name-ID-overall candidate make me suspect an organized effort (not that there's anything wrong with that)
