Acronyms are a great way of telling the world that your time is more valuable than everyone else's. You save a fraction of a second by increasing everyone else's cognitive overhead and wasting actual time if they have to go look it up. Use fewer acronyms.

@juliknl @Authy It's so bad 😭 If you're stuck, like I was, try opening settings and editing accounts. Looks like the original logos are still showing there so I can at least update the label to something more useful. Hope they revert this ASAP.

Ain't enshittification great? @Authy pushed an update, and not only does it look worse than the previous UI - but in addition to not having icons for key services (and no option to set your own) it has _lost_ icons for key things like AWS. Which one of the "julik"s do I click, dear @AuthyHelp ? Maybe your qualified UI design team lead PM supervisor knows the answer? 😭

@yagudaev @vercel @heroku This is my first time seeing SST but looks awesome. I’m using terraform for definitelyjuicy.com and it’s helped me keep my operating costs < CA$5/mo while enjoying all of AWS. But TF is still complicated/time sync so anything that’s higher level abstraction should be a win.

I don’t think people appreciate what a flex x.com is. You don’t simply get a single-character .com domain. There is no a.com, there’s no b.com, no c.com, etc. How does x.com exist?

@7sniperrrrrrr @nurijanian @FollowChris 2012 was a wild time. Customers have only 24 hours in the day, so most tech execs convinced themselves that getting users addicted amounted to winning market share (of attention). Applied to everything from Netflix to Facebook, Twitter and even Slack.

I need to build an Admin UI for Juicy. Currently thinking of tacking on purpose-specific GraphQL API, then building dashboards on @retool. The existing app frontend is served from AWS Lambda. I'd serve the new API from a lambda as well. What would you do differently?
