Ain't enshittification great? @Authy pushed an update, and not only does it look worse than the previous UI - but in addition to not having icons for key services (and no option to set your own) it has _lost_ icons for key things like AWS. Which one of the "julik"s do I click, dear @AuthyHelp ? Maybe your qualified UI design team lead PM supervisor knows the answer? ๐Ÿ˜ญ

No-code platforms need business models that mirror traditional developer infrastructure. AWS scales bandwidth costs linearly (actually, sub-linearly). Why is it so common for no-code platforms to cut off their customers at the knees? BTW, 1.2TB costs about $110/mo on AWS ๐Ÿช›

WTF is wrong with @webflow? They're forcing me to pay $15,000/year, up from $468! A 32x price increase overnight! And they gave me 1 week to decide if I want to upgrade or move the whole Failory site to another CMS!!

I had roughly the same thought this week. Thereโ€™s increasing pressure for developers to go independent, and a vast, untapped ocean of underserved niche markets. How can the two connect? Sounds a lot like book authors and readers.

I've often thought about how in the 80s there were software publishers like broderbund that worked like book publishers (they'd pay creators an advance, and help with marketing and distribution). I think maybe there's a place again for something like that en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broderbund
