How many of you have gone from borderline fundable proposals to triage on resubmission? Colleague just told me it happened to her - I've seen it with my own grants. So how objective/capricious is the review process? Wish I could think of a way to make process better.

The best advice I got when I started over 15 years ago as an Asst. Prof. You must complain at every difficulty you face, but you must perform inspite of those difficulties. Because unless you complain system will not improve, and unless you perform, no one will listen to you.
