Month 1 of @toddlrindia
Mike Tyson said everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. Running a business is just getting punched in the face repeatedly and choosing to stay standing.
Then this landed in my inbox.
One of our products in Amazon Best Sellers at the end of month one
We're not selling toys. We're selling origin stories. And apparently, India's parents are ready for that conversation.
To every parent who trusted us with their child's playtime this month: this one's for you. You didn't just buy a toy. You bought a head start.
We're just getting started.

Thank you, @toddlrindia, for gifting this to me to test.
The game is really interesting and targets spatial thinking & pattern recognition skills.
The quality of the shape block is really good, and they have given a wide range of patterns whch forces kids to think differently.

We built these games so parents could FEEL what cognitive skills actually mean.
Spatial memory.
Pattern recognition.
Internal timing.
Your kids don’t need screens to build these. They need physical play.
That’s what we launch tomorrow. Same challenge. Zero screens.

for the last 2 days, i've seen adults struggle at games designed to show them what their kids' brains are capable of. Not because they're dumb. Because their brains rusted. We built 3 browser games to break down what cognitive skills actually are. 67% needed multiple attempts. Here's why 🧵
English

In 3 days:
- 1000+ games played
- 650+ unique players
- Most of you struggled (we saw the replays)
3 geniuses crushed it:
@ojasvikhurana @ragsh_ @clearlysid
Everyone else: your kids’ brains can still learn this stuff way faster than you just did.

These games aren't FOR your kids. They're for YOU.
So you can feel what these skills mean. Not as jargon. As experience.
Your kids don't need screens to learn this. They need physical play. Hands-on challenges. Real-world reps.
That's what we're launching with @toddlrindia on January 22. Same fun, the same difficulty but zero screens
Try the parent version: game.toddlrindia.com
Then imagine your kid building these skills through toys instead of apps.

Tile Recall tests spatial memory (remembering where you put things, visualizing math). Rock Paper Scissors tests pattern recognition (adapting when rules change, figuring out new games without asking for help). Tempo Tap tests internal timing (impulse control, emotional regulation, focus).
Most of you struggled with at least one out of three (hate you tempo tap). Because these skills fade without practice.
Your brain stopped training them years ago. Your kid's brain? It's building them RIGHT NOW between ages 2-6.
