This is solely my opinion.....Mike LaFleur asked for things that Michael bidwill wasn't willing to give, or he didn't impress Monti and Michael like they we're hoping he would. Hence they take a shot at Kubiak. If Klint turns them down, they go back to LaFleur and concede a few things.

@Gambo987 So do us and Dbacks fans now dislike Marte? I mean it’s hard to not believe all the stuff from last season that he’s a diva with all the trade talks this off season. Who knows the truth but I guess we will never know if Bergman would make them better over keeping Marte.

I would put the Dbacks chances of landing Alex Bregman in the longshot category while not being able to rule it out completely. I believe it is more than likely the agent, Scott Boras, trying to drive up the price and using Arizona as leverage. He does live here and I'm sure would love to be a Diamondback but I would think his asking price is out of range.
