@wlubballgolf After going undefeated in conference play coaching basketball Coach Knight was told that WLU wanted him to be the Head Football Coach the next year. Howard Lockhart became the next mens basketball coach.

DID YOU KNOW? Legendary WLU Football Coach David “Tuffy” Knight was originally hired by WLU in 1965 to be the Head Basketball Coach. Coach Knight after graduating from Fairmont State College in West Virginia coached Basketball, Football and Track/Field in the state of Ohio.
