@dirkwrswhitesox @Craig_Sandlin @JoshJunker2 I'm a Seahawks fan too. There's always hope. Seattle went from the SeaChickens to the Legion of Boom! Now it's 2 SB victories in my lifetime.

@Craig_Sandlin @JoshJunker2 I know being a Cincinnati Sports Fan has broken me cause I still fully expect to get swept by the Pirates to start off May. Lol

Kevin McReynolds would go on to relative stardom with the Mets, finishing 3rd in MVP voting in 1988. He hit 20+ HR 6x in 7 years, including 3 straight years with at least 26 HR and 95 RBI. Pretty good player!
(Carmelo Martinez was basically a poor man's version of McReynolds.)

@LearndMyLessons @CardPurchaser that looks like a compilation of the balls from the movies Sandlot and Major League.
English

@Pick2C @CardPurchaser my Gibson has almost faded away completely

@CardPurchaser 1990 WS Champs Cincinnati Reds. When I bought it, ball arrived with a bonus Blockbuster VHS 1990 WS Highlights.

@CardPurchaser 1940 WS autos with mostly Reds and a couple Tigers. My favorite ball due to the provenance Western Union telegram sweepstakes win.

@CardPurchaser this is not mine, but I wanted to share so that people know it exists: Ruth, Aaron, Mays, F Robinson, Sadaharu Oh, Killebrew, and maybe one or two more. He bought the Ruth ball and faded sigs. It's an amazing story of how he collected them, especially how he added Mays.

@nut_history hometown team drafted him, he played his entire career there. he helped lead a wave of offensive SS. He won a WS early in his career. he won MVP in a contested race leading his team to the NLCS. the next year he became the first SS to go 30/30. He capped his career in the HOF.

@Cardinals1942 @Cardinals @keithhernandez Right card, wrong variation. I upgraded. I was 5yo when 91T came out, but I knew nothing about MLB. My mom would buy them at grocery stores. Around 93, I saw baseball cards in an antique store and saw KGJ. 💡! I went home and found my 91T KGJ base cards and I was very excited.

English

Core Memory Card. This is the first card I remember pulling from a pack, being super excited about as a @Cardinals fan, and considered my “best card” at that time.
@keithhernandez
What’s your first “core memory” card?

@pale_atlantis Same price at Seattle Kraken in-stadium store. My son's press on lettering started to come loose when we got home and my mother in law sewed it on permanently. The kraken receive order and deliver during the game. I think his was ready after one period.
