The reason AS gives immunity to blood bending is because it floods the chi pathways with energy. Benders who have really strong chi will naturally have some level of resistance against it

@Itay20052 @godofavatar Not in raw power. He’s definitely more technically skilled than most benders. He beat Aang after getting the staff which amps air bending. Plus Aang had just discovered his friends had just gotten merked. Tagah just him😭

Base tagah is top 3 avatar villians (only including Korra and Aang villains). With the staff he jumps up to being on par or above the dark avatar

@SolRadiant7 I agree. Tagah was on something else this entire movie. He’s 100% the strongest non avatar airbender we’ve ever seen. Plus you can’t forget Katara said his chi was unlike anything she had ever felt. Stronger chi would only help him resist blood bending

@AvatarTrev @SolRadiant7 Well ofc Amon has greater haxs bc of blood bending but that can be resisted. And like you said mako was able to still bend while being blood bended. Katara also said Tagah had such strong chi that she had never felt before. Such strong chi only helps him fight against it
