[Breaking] Police Conclude Min Hee-jin Not Guilty of Breach of Duty – Case Dismissed [Official]

The police have concluded that former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin is not guilty of breach of duty.
On July 15, Min Hee-jin’s side announced, “Following over a year of police investigation into the breach of duty charges filed by HYBE in April 2024, the conclusion is that Min Hee-jin did not commit any illegal acts. As of the 15th, both cases filed by HYBE have been dismissed with a decision of no charges.”
At the time, Min Hee-jin appeared at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul and underwent around eight hours of questioning. Facing reporters, she stated, “I will speak the truth,” and regarding the charges, added, “It doesn’t even make sense to call this breach of duty.”
After the questioning, she remarked, “I actually wanted to be questioned earlier. I’m impatient, and there’s a lot I want to say.” When asked if she had additional evidence to submit, she replied, “We have a lot,” and her attorney added, “We’ll be submitting them in due course.” Min Hee-jin emphasized, “It’s a relief to speak honestly,” and stressed, “This was never a matter of breach of duty. From my perspective, it’s like a comedy,” adding, “I told them everything truthfully.”
Previously, on April 22, 2024, HYBE launched an internal audit into Min Hee-jin and ADOR’s management, accusing her of attempting to seize management control. On April 26, they filed a police report against her for alleged breach of duty, claiming she tried to wrest control of the HYBE subsidiary. In response, Min Hee-jin denied the allegations, stating, “It’s structurally impossible to seize control, given the current shareholding structure.”
Subsequently, HYBE sought to dismiss Min Hee-jin and the current ADOR board through a special shareholders’ meeting. In turn, Min Hee-jin filed an injunction to prohibit HYBE from exercising its voting rights, effectively fighting to prevent her removal. The Seoul Central District Court’s 50th Civil Division (Presiding Judge Kim Sang-hoon) sided with Min Hee-jin, approving the injunction.
At the time, the court stated, “Based on the claims and evidence submitted thus far, HYBE’s grounds for dismissal or resignation of Min Hee-jin are not sufficiently substantiated.” However, they added, “It is clear that Min Hee-jin did seek ways to remove NewJeans from HYBE’s control or to pressure HYBE into weakening its dominance over ADOR in order to eventually gain independent control of the label.” The court continued, “However, it’s difficult to conclude that she progressed beyond that stage into actual execution. While her actions might be seen as a betrayal of HYBE, they do not amount to breach of duty against ADOR.”
The court also emphasized, “Given that the shareholders’ meeting is imminent, and that it would be difficult for Min Hee-jin to receive adequate remedy through a full trial before the meeting, and considering that the loss of her ability to perform her duties as a director cannot be easily compensated by monetary damages after the fact, there is a clear need to restrict HYBE’s exercise of voting rights.”

Let me clarify everything-
1. There was never meant to be a tokkimap "team". It was always just me + testers.
2. The reason I started calling it a "team" was because a certain "tester" wanted to claim the credit for the app. I didn't want him to claim all the credits so I gave equal credits to all other testers and kinda against my will created a "team".
3. There was a reason why there is "by @tokkizones" in the logo. Now you know. If i didn't add it, all my credits for the app might have been stolen away when Hanni posted.
4. Today I learned from korean tokkis that he has been telling the korean side that he was the creator, and has been maintaining the costs etc. and I was really angry about it.
5. I coded 100% of the app, came up with 100% of the idea, paying over 20-40usd per month to maintain it. I reached out to some tokkis to test the app and provide feedback. Little did I know the korean tokki i reached out to, started telling korean tokkis he was the founder.
6. I didn't want to ruin relationships with korean tokkis and he was the only contact I knew, so I kept quiet and just tried avoiding and protecting myself like in point 2 and 3. Also I didn't want mhdhh to see any negative stuff since tokkimap had high visibility.
7. After the dani cafe incident i learned that he didn't just do it to me, he did it to countless tokkis, and the way he did it was very similar to what @seuljeanz posted in her thread. Basically he helps abit and wants his name on our work, and then goes around telling others its his work.
8. I posted the idea very early on in a thread, even before reaching out to him for testing. I barely had any followers back then too. And I think most i-tokkis know I'm the founder but alot of k-tokkis didnt.
9. I'm still very thankful to the other testers and they are truly amazing tokkis. But in short, I didn't intend to have a tokkimap team at all, since its all done by me.
10. I lost alot of motivation in the past months because everytime i spent weeks coding up a new feature, everyone thanks the tokkimap team (but its actually just me). Which is also why i decided to move to work on tokkizones.com instead where i could get some proper credit for my hard work.
11. After he saw i posted about idea of making phoning on tokkimap, he asked me if it was going to be done and he wanted to be the one to pass the account details to mhdhh when he meets them at one of their birthday cafes. I'm so glad I didn't. It was such a huge feature and imagine mhdhh thinks he built it...
