BREAKING: Christian School Teacher Gets 40-Years for Sex with Student. Bonnie Elizabeth Brown, 26, was sentenced to 40 years in prison with a minimum of 15 years to serve after a jury found her guilty on five of eight counts of improper sexual contact by an educator following a four-day trial. She was acquitted on the remaining three counts. The young man, now 19, was a student at Nathanael Greene Academy in Siloam, GA. In court he broke down, hyperventilated, and could not finish speaking during his victim impact statement. A advocate completed the statement for him after he was helped from the courtroom. As second woman, Sherri Delle Mauldin, 61, was also arrested on related charges involving the same student. Mauldin pleaded guilty and a judge sentenced her to 12 years in prison plus 25 years of probation and required her to register.
