Entire football league is on tv at 3pm. There’s no blackout. None of the premier league games at 3pm are on tv.

Really happy with this. Think #oufc fans will buy into Bloomfield when they hear him speak. Should provide that positive spark and plenty of promise in ColU and Wycombe spells, while Luton were good backend of last season despite eventual relegation.

@oxfjack Can't see us doing that, or if there would be anyone who can come in from the cold to impact games at Champ level straight away. Annoyingly the player in the squad I'd like to see tried sitting in front of the back 4 is Spencer, but he's out for the forseeable too

Looks to me like there has been a stratgey shift at #oufc, with a focus on setting up to be hard to beat to grind out the points needed to give us the best chance of staying up. Do worry that we'll lose the fans though, with a swell of criticism already aimed (often unfairly) at

@GeorgeElek He made 3 sub appearances in 6 games under Rowett which suggests to me he didn’t get the best out of him. Hopefully that was just because his confidence/motivation was already very low and it goes better this time

If the remit is to keep Oxford in the Championship then it’s hard to think of anyone better suited to that and I can’t imagine there will be too many grumblings from the fans if he succeeds. He’s also a good guy and a good talker, so I think he’ll win sceptics over early. #oufc
