@ZizouSzn10 I was wondering if the one style was down to the players not able to adapt during the game or focusing too much on one style at the cost of an alternative... I feel the start of the season was a shock at where we were at, so it was attempt to batten down the hatches quickly!

@tom_mc_c no shame in doing so, worst part is trying to justify an ineffective and impractical framework will eventually work in the long run, as a stretch gives more weight to the definition of insanity. DZ lacking a sense of pragmatism and being married to one style will be his downfall

final thing I'll say on the Roar game, just another slight against the higher ups at the Glory for their decision to part ways with Staj at the end of last season, especially when you look at where WSW are now, and where we are. he ended up having the last laugh...

@ZizouSzn10 not disagreeing with that... and heres a but :) it might not be a 1 year rebuild... so do you keep changing until you stop rebuilding? ... I do think watching the game we haven't got plan B or C ready.... its a bit one dimensional at the mo... that is a manager issue

@tom_mc_c sure and that’s fair, I just feel now in specific relation to the coach though that risk we took has run its course and ultimately it’s now within the club’s best interest to pursue an alternate option that will give us the best chance of success.

@ZizouSzn10 my view point was trying something new was a risk, but was it a risk worth taking? hindsight might suggest no.. but I always think its never more than one issue and they can compound each other... (you could use this for a lot of teams, not just us)

@tom_mc_c praise or luck? ultimately those who made the call didn’t have much credibility tbh given their prior experience in football/admin roles etc. no guarantee Staj would’ve worked this season either, but what was abundantly clear this season, we tried to run before we could walk

@ZizouSzn10 but should an inexperienced manager do well we would praise the risk takers.. hard call in my book… we also have no evidence that we’d be in a better state had we not changed, end of last season was ugly

@tom_mc_c that’s valid, I’d just contest that though however by suggesting that the optics of our position with the notion we were going to see exponential improvement with DZ hasn’t eventuated at all, and we ultimately turfed out someone experienced in their role for someone who isn’t
