Spent a spectacular few days earlier this week on the Timberline Trail circumnavigating Mt. Hood. A beautiful, serious hike with nearly every type of mountain terrain, from glacial rivers to alpine meadows. The wilderness is tough and wonderful. (And I only lost one toenail!)
