I just struggle to find an optimistic take on anything we do rn, and have next to no faith that the club will back this guy enough for him not to do a Conte at some point in the next 12 months. But if it’s in the Premier League I guess it’s mission accomplished.

Plenty of doubts about De Zerbi and clearly, no guarantees with anyone. But Tottenham landing a coach of his quality & status at this point, in this position, would frankly be a no-brainer compared to alternative options. What long-term? One focus: stay up.
