@_GooeyGUI_ i honestly dont understand why a studio that made a game that encourages taking your time and learning things that may be annoyingly difficult at first is so supportive of AI

i’ve said it before but if kcd3 or any other future warhorse product has evidence of ai use during development i won’t buy it. i already canceled plans to buy the comic over ai use.

they fired a translator in favor of using AI. translation to convey tone and emotion, to provide subtext and nuance, is an under appreciated skill. you’re essentially rewriting the entire story twice. and it’s work that AI steals from like any other human art.

The way I will always defend saving Sam at the end of the game, not only cause I love him (duh), but i think a man's life will always be greater than money. Also, the silver was like 70k Gr and I had about 903k in my back pocket at that time, so if I was playing realisticly..

@spacedruid69 I accidentally killed him too in my first playthrough 😭 I thought surely there's no way they're killing off Henry's brother who we just MET. I thought the "get help" also meant go and get help for Sam. Imagine my surprise when I saw what happened next

@tomatoreyn I think that would’ve been the best approach! Before the ending, there wasn’t really enough time for us to get to know Sam. But after? Taking him away from Henry like that just feels like wasted potential… JUSTICE FOR SAMUEL and I have to admit… I killed him in my save… 😭

I’m in the mood to complain today — I wish Sam had been better written. There’s so much unused potential, especially in his dynamic with Henry. Just when I started to get invested, the story was already ending… we deserved a DLC

@spacedruid69 I wish Sam didnt have to leave after suchdol (I also wish his survival didnt depend on player choice but whatever). It would've been the perfect opportunity to add some more story between henry and sam, whether it be through a side quest or a dlc :(

@tomatoreyn I think that’s exactly it. We never really get the chance to connect with their relationship — which is a shame, because I love both Samuel and the idea of Henry learning new forms of family. Especially when you add the fact that he sees pieces of Martin in Sam…
