Im thinking of #WordPress web development in an MVC way and how I might explain to PHP devs not familiar with WordPress. Model = Plugins View = Theme Controller = Core This feels right to me but I honestly haven’t done much with MVC since CakePHP and CodeIgniter. Thoughts?

@cassiecodes 100%, there's nothing worse than someone messaging me about a dev role because I have a few buzzwords on my profile. I mean, I caaan do some coding for you, but you're not going to like the outcome!

@tomcchute I'm sure it's useful for some people. It just feels very fake and depressing to me. I've got a good network through friends & mutual acquaintances. I don't need a million generic connection requests and low effort contacts from recruiters who don't bother to read my profile.

Has anyone else just deleted their linkedIn account? It's such a depressing place. Every time I log in (rarely) I just get a sea of recruitment spam and unknown people wanting to 'connect'. Is it actually helpful? Do employers really look at it?
