The decision of this Administration to withhold intelligence and cancel today’s scheduled bipartisan classified Member briefing — which was already long overdue — is a slap in the face to the Congress of the United States.
We must all exercise our best judgement in how we prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon and honor our relationship with Israel in the interest of our national security.
But the unjustified cancelation of this briefing by the Trump Administration is an intolerable insult to their co-equal branch of government and the Constitutional requirement that the President comes to Congress before going to war.
The President owes the American people an explanation on why his Administration is keeping them and their Representatives in the dark.

I asked @SpeakerPelosi what she wants to hear from the member briefing on Iran. "The truth." She said "Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon" and that "our friendship with Israel is a true, real one based on values." She says she believes if Pres. Trump had come to Congress (which she says he should have), then he may have had the support to attack Iran's nuclear facilities. Pelosi also reminded reporters that she was against the Iraq war because she believed the intelligence "didn't support the threat," and she wants to hear/see what the intel was for this strike. Since we spoke, the briefing for members has been cancelled and it's unclear when it will be rescheduled.

One of the most painful things for me is when a match is decided not by wrestling, but because of an injury.
I always step into the ring with deep respect for my opponent, and I train hard every day to give the audience something they can truly enjoy.
Even if it was never intentional, knowing that someone was hurt in a match with me is something I carry deeply. It breaks my heart.
I hope with all my heart for a full and speedy recovery.
I will continue to give my all, hoping to bring excitement—not pain—to the ring.
