@Aoe2I Can you update the About section of people's profiles to show how many games they've played for the tab that they're on? Currently it just shows the total number of games, but it should say the unique number depending on if you're looking at RM 1v1 vs RM Team for eg

RTA just makes so much more intutive sense for strats and stars that are used in.. RTA runs

@tomfewchuk @Dillarune @GreenSuigi RTA is already used to refer to RTA vs IGT (real-time vs in-game timing), which is counting w/ lag frames vs w/out. So they have that, and Star Grab vs Xcam is added on top of that.

@Dillarune @GreenSuigi Yea okay, cos the air time makes you choose slightly slower star grab times but for a full 120 star run or something you want to hit the ground as fast as possible

@tomfewchuk @GreenSuigi yeah on this star it doesn't matter bc u can grab the star without jumping. on other stars u have to jump to grab it and wait for mario to land, that air time counts in rta so xcam is more accurate

@Dillarune @GreenSuigi Why is it more accurate? In this star the mario cam turns X way before the end (during the star loading animation), and it looks like the 1:16 is based solely upon him hitting the star

@tomfewchuk @GreenSuigi xcam is a timing method used for rta strats purposes. the time stops when the lakitu/mario cam hud turns into X, this usually happens when mario lands after grabbing a star. It's more accurate than star grab timing (for rta)

Oil is less dense than water so when water is thrown in burning oil, it immediately goes under the oil to the extremely hot surface of the fire. This turns the water to steam instantly, not before rapidly expanding to 1700 times its original size.
That very quickly pushes all the oil already on fire out creating that explosive effect.
