Isn't it ironic? A hundred EV companies have bloomed under communism, while capitalism subsidizes one moron. A startup has trained an AI for $5.5 million under communism, while capitalist AI requires $500 billion in government support. 1/11

@shashidhargani @ChampionsLeague No. Top 24, which means we have secured playoffs. Madrid is the last team who can match (and not go beyond) our current points. They have a 15pt ceiling and sit 24th

@Shareefin @ChampionsLeague Don’t think that is the worst idea, seems like a lot of games to still end up with 24 teams. Maybe top 4 through to the quarters, next 8 into round of 16, would up the jeopardy

@ChampionsLeague the new format, why not reward group stage performance even more? First-placed team could go directly to the semi-final, and second-placed team to the quarter. Adds more value to every match

Chair of ABC Kim Williams arrogantly defends the sacking of journalist Sarah Macdonald claiming to “fully support” the decision to get rid of her because he says this is “part of life”🤨

@MoezPadani @Free_Speech_1A @lexfridman It is because choosing a career in academia is a very idealistic thing to do, when you can almost certainly apply those skills to earn more money in another profession. Therefore, most academics tend to align with left wing thinking

Scientific American editor-in-chief is an embarrassment to science. Get politics out of science, engineering, STEM education. Science and engineering is about building cool shit, and exploring the mysteries of physics, chemistry, biology, etc.

@KevEastSports @LFCTransferRoom @GNev2 I thought it was a penalty when I first saw it back, but just focus on Sancho’s body shape before Trent steps on him. I’m not saying it is intentional but Sancho basically hooks his foot under Trent’s, hardly a “natural” body position

It would be interesting to see if @GNev2 still thinks Mo Salah should be booked for this 'dive' after seeing Levi Colwill put both hands on his back and shove him... 🤔

@Banana16Eric I feel if people like Wong and Albanese don’t feel like they can make a stand on Palestine the US must being applying a lot of pressure behind the scenes to toe the line. I think it is a mistake to tear them down as Dutton will be x20 worse

@AdyLady9969 I’m no expert but I would say this would be true of most large charities. It is just an inefficient way to raise money. What they probably do well is keeping the public attention on the issues so the government actually steps in a provides proper funding

Ben Fulcher@bendfulcher

Latest preprint by incredible @AnnieGBryant Multivariate time series are studied across neuroimaging (fMRI, MEG, …) but how can we best extract the most relevant dynamical patterns in a given dataset? FC (Pearson or alternative)? Local dynamics (fALFF or alternative)? Both??👇

You don't want French subs. They rust in the brochure, just like their cars. Fact happened, picked up a new government lease car from the dealer with rust on it.🤣 Don't buy Italian trains either, their doors fall out during the trip. Again fact. Happened. Just like doors, engine and external panels fall off Boeing planes. Fact. Happened. See the trend here of effects? The cause is hiring of equality over ability which leads to lower level of standards. Be careful with your surgeon if you ever need a complex surgery .... #US #America #UK #ukpol #auspol
