Still a lot of uncertainty around the weekend in terms of how much rain we see so expect your weather apps to chop and change for a while yet. A lot of messages asking about weather for the 9th with a lot of communions on it seems.

@BrophShane A lot to do still but getting away with no scrutiny as all hype on cork Limerick through league final, round robin and probable Munster final. Suits Tipp fine ….if can get third….and drive on in ai series. Big If as it is with all 5 teams.

A ripper of a game. A draw probably a fair result but Tipp will be frustrated at the number of passes that were intercepted which resulted in Kilkenny scores. Tallis saves at key stages prevented Tipp getting control. Still, headed into championship in decent fettle!

Tipp still too loose for my liking and lacking that energy that I hope is being saved for the championship. Quite happy to see Limerick Cork continue to take lumps out of each other and the spotlight. Scrutiny of AI champions has been welcomely absent for Tipp this year.

England had it won. 2 mins to go and a point up just keep the ball under the jumper but a crazy kick away against the best 3/4 back line in the world and then to win it back again and lack of composure from Pollock cost his team. Overall France deserve to win 6N.

Someone should do a psychology thesis on the inverse proportionate relationship between talking up and delivering when it comes to Scotland pre Irish matches! #thereforthetaking apparently! Some test match but well done Ireland.

The only positive from that muck was it lowers expectations. No league final. Beaten once again in the physical stakes. Waiting to hear the nonsense that Tipp had a heavy session yesterday etc. As AI champions on home pitch I expected a lot lot more fight regardless of result.

What a difference a week makes! No one saw that coming. Incredible performance. Now let’s make it a turning point and not a one off and continue the momentum into next two games…..and hope France slip up which is unlikely unless England turn it around on 14 March. #ENGvIRE
